I love learning the history of all sorts of body modifications. I only have 5 piercings (all on my ears), but I'd like to get a tattoo when I'm 18. I watch all sorts of specials on TLC about tattoos and all sorts of body modifications. Is anyone else fascinated by this?
Yeah, i like the history of it. I find that a lot of those shows exagerate or misinform though. Your best bet to learn about the history is to ask artists and piercers. they have a lot of info. books in the library about different cultures can give you information too. some of those shows are still pretty cool though.
