Sports Physical "urine" test?

Hey all I'm 16 and I'm going to get a sports physical for volleyball. Its the routine physical for a sport, and I'm kinda worried. Some of my friends say they do test for drugs, but i think that they think this because, from what i believe, they test your urine for other things but not drugs.
Does anyone here know if they actually test for drugs in your urine? or is it a urine dialysis? Is the test for drugs in the urine dialysis?

well, it might be a drug test. i know schools are allowed to drug test students who want to particiapate in sports/ after school acitivities.

but as far as what i got, i never once was drug tested to play soccer or baseball in highschool, nor was i drug test to swim at uni last year. all they did was make me piss in a cup and they made sure i was hydrated.

 

well, all the kids who play sports in my school take urine tests every once in awhile.


but every school is different

 

i found a good website, but they can test for hundreds of different diseases and shit. kinda scary.
like levels of stuff in your urine...
plus i go to a small private highschool, so i dont think the school is gonna somehow make me take a drug test.

The urine tests that i had to take for my sports physicals were for hydration.

 

I know they used to test for steroids around here, but i dont know about other shit.

 

I see the "sports and steroids" thing doesn't come together here.

 

At my school they test both drivers and athletes. Luckily I'm a senior.

If my school had told me to take a drug test in order to drive to school, I would have told them to kiss my dick.

 

i know...i would have flipped out. and we didn't have student parking. so having them drug test me to drive would be outrageous.

 

from my experiences, i can't imagine it wouldn't be for drugs as well. did they make you sign a form saying you wouldn't do any drugs?
