he's got some good stuff. Some shit too. I dunno, I can't listen to him very often, I get a little sick of his stuff if I here it too much
whats wrong with jethro tull the man? without him wed all still be farming by throwing seeds around willy nilly
i believe the flute player and band leader is named ian anderson. i think he's now in his 70s and last i heard still goin strong, and yah i could listen to his stuff forever. second alblum on 8-track back in the days of 8-track cartridges, before they came out with cassettes. sometime a couple of years or so mary youngblood recorded a duet with him on one of her cd's, possibly feed the fire. there was also someone way back in the renesaunce or something i think he named the band after. that i'm not sure what he did or was known for, but no matter, the band jethro tull, and it's leader/flute player; ian anderson, totaly and thoroughly rocked =^^= .../\...
OOOOOOOOOOOH JETHRO TULL IS AWESOME!!!!! ian anderson is HOT! AAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!! MAAAAAAN!!!! i missed the december concert they had here ooh, gawwwwd i love love love love love em!!!!
Weren't they though (very, very early 70s)? One of the few acts I'd see after tickets increased to $5 USD. *L* Their shows were dramatically better a coupla yrs ago compared to 10yrs earlier. Ten years earlier Ian couldn't stand on one leg for very long/had no lung capacity... Said he got Exercise! *c*
Tull fuckin rocks dude. I saw them live in fall 2003. I was so stoned at the concert. They play a great show. Ever heard the song "teacher"? Its like "Hey man look around find yourself some fun, ain't no sense in sitting back hating everyone". And "Skating Away on the Thin Ice of a New Day" is great too.
ian anderson is awesome... i am such a dork, i named my flute ian. *gigggles* my fave song by far is 'my god' because of the mind-blowing flute solo. it's on aqualung. ahhhhhhh
