clean up her place, give her tons of water, and stay out of her way. invisibility, until your presence is requested, probably wouldn't go awry. pms + heavy stress is a very bad thing. it sounds like she's indulging her rage a bit. don't take ANY OF IT personally. chamomile tea always helped me de-stress.

thanks mynameiskc for sharin'.......i've found her into candy and stuff.. should i giver her chocolate and coffee anytime? you've mentioned givin' her tons of water... might the chocolate or coffee affect the water consumption in any way?

Nope, i don't intend to take her taqntrums personally... guess its just natural for her to be angry at me or anything else during that month of irritability.....

does classical music help as well? shes into stuff by Chopin & Diana Krall... so could such music be a confort to her durin those times or no music at all? Also do women while pmsing mind phone calls... while they're drivin and stuff?

I'll be really glad to see some feedback from more forum members here.

    Thanks so much :)

Draw a nice warm bath, wth bubbles, and get her in there with a book. Soon all the stress will slip away. You can even get armoatherapy bubble bath (which I LOVE).

I also crave chocolate terribly around my period. I always make sure to have plenty in supply :p

oh i dont know.. maybe if it was her very own beach that she could be the queen of! other than that the bath is an excellent idea

okay, heres some things:you can accept her attitude, knowing its biological
you can eat chocolate:D, run a bath, etc
you can buy PMS tea, we have some here, its from the bulk food store or something, you'll prolly find it in zehrs
make her take a hike like literally, tell her to go for a long walk.... walking helps...
but yes, chocolate, warmth, maybe childrens books...
as stupid as that sounds they're short and sweet.... and they make you happy.
    good luck

    Here's an idea too-
If your friend isn't opposed to taking supplements, soy protiens (in soy milk, tofu and over the counter remedies) help normalise hormone flare-ups during PMS which can cause mood-swings, depression and irritability... My own PMS used to be 10 times worse, and I started drinking a lot of soy milk (in place of regular milk) and eating a lot of tofu-even the cramps aren't so bad...

Before she goes to sleep at night, a hot, steamy shower (or bath) a cup of tea (chamomile, or anything de-caffinated) and a piece of chocolate will help-and if she needs to cry, let her cry! ;-)
