Yeah I have to agree, most of the newer shit does suck, I'm all about my Classic Rock.

Shit like the Dead, Doors, Led Zep, Hendrix, Marley, and Phish. I like to enjoy the MUSIC when I'm high, and these bands just do it a hundred times better than 95% of the bands now-a-days.

it was one of the least places i thought i would find it, but right now, well five minutes ago, the skynard song by the name of freebird, sent me on a fucking journey to a better place were the keyboard im typng feels like its melting, and the lens behind my eyelids is severly out of focus, but it will blow you away, but jump right into the solo at 4 minutes and you cant go wrong

I love the old stuff best, but Dreadzone have taken me places - even Prodigy and one of my favourites - Bedrock Featuring KYO - 'For What You Dream Of' - you only ever hear the edited version from 'Trainspotting' but I found the original full length copy lying in a road down south - its about 45 minutes long and is quite fucking amazing!

    (zappa/beefheart still win though)

For sure, the mighty boognish. Its funny because they're pretty much musical geniuses, but they just don't give a shit, so they just fuck around in the studio. The Mollusk is one of the best albums of the nineties.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds' latest album would clearly be a hot one. It's meditative, funky and trippy, respectively. I actually haven't tested smoking to it yet (well haven't actually even thought of trying anything post 60's), but one shoud give it a chance, definately!

Damn dude i like your taste in music. etta was truly original in her looks and her voice. she had something that the Billie and Ella type singers didnt have. everybody talks about joplin and such but i never really hear too much credit going to Etta as one of the great woman blues singers. it is a shame that she is only known for that one song.
