Punishment Park has a gripping intensity that,,,well, let's just say I've never seen this kind of power before. You become the camera man, a government imbedded journalist, witnessing and recording official martial-law in the United States. This is a dangerous film. 34 yrs ago this picture was released, and no one would play it. I never heard of it, and today is the first time I ever saw it. After you watch the film, check out the directors comments, it will send chills up your spine. If your thinking of going to film school, don't miss Punishment Park.
it is yet very hard to catch. never was released whatsoever. just on tv sometimes. or downloadable versions. i agree it's the most subversive political movie ever made....
