i cant believe all the horrible reviews everyone gave this film. Its so fucking hilarious. Mel Brooks has some gems i think, but this one is at the top of his list in my opinion. "Mervin?....Your name is Mervin?" Chapelle is pretty good as well back then. Achoo...lol The funniest shit ever is whenever rottingham always yells at robin backwards. I dont remember exactly what he says but its something along the lines of "How dare you, dear kill a dare, forrest kings the in....." then he corrects himself lol. FUNNY MOVIE
not bad, but not good, compared to all of the other great films mel brooks put out........ like blazing saddles, spaceballs, and young frankenstein.
People think all movies are made to win oscars. Not all movies are meant to be analysed to death but simple watched and enjoyed, or not. "We're men, (manly men) we're men in tight" yes Funny movie and Mel Brooks is as funny as hell. Look, if people can take Kevin Costner in Prince of Thieves with his yank accent (Robin Hood was a pom) than this film is a laugh.
yes! this is definetly up there on my favourites list the part where La Trine explains the origin of her name is so crude... but so good...
1.) Latrine? Thats an interesting name..... 2.) Use to be shithouse. 1.) Thats a good change.....thats a good change.... lol
The movie's not that bad, compared to Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein, nothing great, but for some reason I thought it was insanely hilarious when they pulled out the "14th Century Fox."
Blinken and his brail porn, the chastity belt, Mel as the Rabbi circumcising people, "unlike other robin hoods, i have a british accent" good movie good movie...Although this is a mel brooks movie, whenever I think of it i think of the princess bride because of carey elways, and cause when i first saw them, i saw them together... either way, they are bother pretty aweosme. I liked this one better than spaceballs though
i remember seeing this movie when i was young and i watched it again like 5 years ago and i love it! i saw it in theaters!
