hi im new at this forum thing ..ok well ive been growin some plants 5 of them ..they are about 2 weeks old and about 3-4 inch. tall ...they were fine 1 day and now they look like there starting to droop over...whats the problem
Sounds like overwatering, let the top off ther soil dry out before each watering.may be too late as dampening off may be underway..
definately. you do need to keep the soil moist the first week or so, but then you need the soil to dry out in betweeen waterings, i like to let it completely dry out, so the roots have to grow more to get water.
You're not gonna grow any pot under a 60-watt plant light. Those are designed to keep house plants alive, not veg and flower marijuana. That's why your plants fell over. Forget them, they're dead. Only 3 kind of light grow marijuana: Fluorescents poor, and you need a ton of them. MH (Metal Halide) great for veg, not so much for flowering HPS (High Pressure Sodium) the king of plant lights, great for veg, superior for flowering. You also need a light-tight enclosure, flo-thru ventilation, quality soil and nutrients. It takes 4 months per crop.
I disagree with the 60 watt bulb as the culprit.Back in the early 80's not knowing any better I purchased one of those from a grocery store and grew out a stringy 3 footer in my closet, although it never flowered due to a disturbed night cycle it never died from low light levels.A 60 watt grow bulb for a normal household light socket will sustain the life of a 3-4 inch plants with no prob, granted as it gets older the lack of light issues will create some probs like excessive stretching and and extremely low yielding flowers but will not kill a young plant in veg.A mostly indica strain indoors only needs 4-5 weeks to veg to and on average 7-8 weeks to flower, thats a total of about 3 months.
i just transplanted them to a bigger home and it was a sucsess....waiting to see if they take to the new soil...should i water them when they are just put in there????
ok i got them in a 18 inch tall by 10 inch. by 22 inch....like a plexiglass aqurium...with 4 inches soil on bottom....5 plants total
