Who do you belive has had the greatest influnace on fictional literture in the last century? Which book do you belive to be of the greatest importance?
I belive the answers are Anthony Burgess and Adrus Huxley as far as authors go. I think the most important book is a Confederacy of dunces by John Kenndy Toole is the greatest work of lituture

Hemingway--without a doubt. He changed the way fiction was written. Faulkner, second. "Confederacy of Dunces" just goes to show the intelligence of most publishers--it was rejected over 20 times.
