Yes, I think we should dress the Island-up a bit, decorating it with Ancient Myan Ruins and Ancient Egyptian Temples w/vines growing out all over them - just their tops sticking out of the ground, and totumpoles - dress the Island up to look like a lost civilization, and for the real ambitious set-designer they could build hobbit houses, but Not only That, we could build Life-Sized Town Sets representing a culture of a different nature, of a different kind from a different universe all together; living amoungst an alien civilization called Planet Earth and It represents our own personal views of Our Own Ancient times/and Ancient exotic civilizations customs and ways of the mind, chronologically timelined next to each other; representing Our past all the way to our future of Time w/futuristic eco-friendly dome homes, all well kept, all well preserved, for future civilization studies and to hear our Ancient Folklore stories; one of which would be that we just up and disappeared one day, some suspect a peaceful evolution, others suspect fowl play, while other's think they hitched a lift with some friendly aliens, other's say they were alien, just staying for a short visit, While other's think they were the one's who originally started and genetically engineered civilization, All According to Folklore; and to admire our Ancient paintings, and dig our Ancient Jewelery, and dig our Ancient Fashion Apparrel, and dig our Ancient Music; and we keep it in the Family so we don't have to move anywhere, and always have a home to stay and live at.. Basically a Huge Universal Studios PlayGround, with our own society left up to their Own Trick, and have our own cable shows we air on the Island, to OurSelves, as a Fully Functional Society that speaks only truths, does not tolerate injustices of the world, a co-existing real society that enjoys happy news, "Joy and Dave got married over the weekend, now here's Jerry with the Weather...", and make money over sea's with our Brand of Television Programing; Educational, Cartoons, Science-Fiction, Music (videos), Video Games, since it's Our Island, communicating to Itself, and pay ourselves to act on Our Own Island Brand Television Shows, (because you have to admit there Are Plenty of Actors and Actresses, Magicians and Musicians in here to make That a living Breathable Reality, and a good way and a great medium to express the message of Love, and to provoke thought and educating our children's minds as well as our own with beautifully orchestrated cartoons, filling their minds with only beautiful thoughts, knowing that one day they will make that change from a negative to a postive by teaching them through scenarios on Our television shows on how to deal with A THiNG CALLED LiFE, Pressures and/or tensions - a racist universe.. And Simply Everything! And Have Meditation Programming, Yoga, Game Shows, Talk Shows, And Have Our Own Radio Station(s) And to Change the World we feel so desperately needs changing, with Our Love, I just had to mention That, too!) and put Ancient 'easter island like' faces up, and a stone-henge, and make 'Ancient Island masks of the Island God/desses' (US), and have tiki torches lighting the pathways, lay down spirited green-grass that sways to the Island Breeze, and a bon fire each night, telling stories and playing music; and record ourselves, and sell our albums 'n things.. Wow this thing is slippery with lucrative aspects; (Creates a lot of Jobs! And who says Our Island has to be Bland! Think of It Like Working In the Movies, or at a DisneyLand/World or Universal Studios - Just another acting gig (fluff's back hair...And Hell, It's Our Island, we're flexible, one day you could be taking someone's order at the hot pizza by the slice stand, or the very next day acting on The Island's Favorite Comedy Program, it's Up To You! No need limiting ourselves or Our Abilities! Or you might have a business of your own, who knows?) But That takes care of some of the Tourism aspects of the Island Dream.. Feel free to add on! Positive comments Only Please!!! Becuse Having Fun Is What It's All About!

Another Thought, while some of Us were forced into poverty by big brother, and living in the Forest Is Cool, and to solve some tentional problems of One Group wants This, And another Group Wants That.. We Are Infinate! And so Are Our Options/The Possibilities!

While Some May Still Want to Live Within the Forests, having beaten the system at it's own systematic question 'where would you go if you had a choice', or Camp-Out on the beaches, which is Cool too, And Some of Us have had somewhat different experiences, and certain realizations, in our own ways, such as: Needing a Roof Over Our Heads, a base of operations - to set-up shop/takin' care of bidness aspect of things, and 2, Needing Money! (In order to sustain our life-styles...)

And While A Person isn't required to Stay on the Island Full-Time, for example; you want to see the world, take a trip to Holland, visit friends and family in Hawaii, or If You and your Family likes to Travel, You'll always have a home with Us Out On the Islands! Anytime! (A Home Away From Home, so to speak!)

And I personally feel, as I know do other new-agers in here, would Like to See a Hippy-Oriented Dance Club, and an All Nighter Coffee-House with a Groovy Writer's Pad Library, while playing Cool New-Aged Musics to fill the atmousphere with Peace, Love, Joy and Tranquility on The Island that Promotes World Peace, as part of our Tourism (the LLC Aspects Portion of the plan), in Otherwards, to Pay Ourselves! (I myself having been screwed over by the I.R.S. am still having money "realizations!")

And Let It Be Written, We Are All Stars, Aware of the fact that, Yes! We All Need Money of some form, one way or the other, in order to sustain our life-styles, atleast, and when doing business with the world! So Out of Love and Respect for One Another, We'd All Pitch-In, whether it be finacially, or helping someone build his or her brand new spacious dream home, We'd be Creating New Job Opportunities for Everyone!

For Example, Suggesting we turn the Island into Like a Huge "Universal Studios" type back-lot isn't really such a bad idea, Truely, it pays the bills, it empowers Us all to take on the rolls of Our Lives, of Acting, that takes form of many shapes and sizes, whether you're a budding actor/actress or a fire juggler, whether It be entertaining on the Island boob-tube, or entertaining One of Our Fine Foreign Clientel from Russia, Him and his Family over at the Veggitarian Friendly Restaurante on the Beautiful Orange Sunset Beach!

Some of Us Techno-Geeks would like an Wireless Wi-Fi Internet Coffee-House(s), so we can stay plugged to the world! And there are plenty of Writer's Out there who would Love this Idea! To communicate and even do business on-line with the world! Work from Home, on-an-Island no-less, from a lap-top. @ 2 Simple Internet Sites, Bam! Instant Progress with the World and money at hand..

Another Lucrative Money Making Idea; Not Only Is Tourism a heroic acting career change it's a welcome idea, It's a fabulous fashionable idea; Tourism with the Locals and other foreign Nations alike, Welcome to the Farris Wheel, tomorrow I'll be giving a seminar on Meditation between 10 and 11 a.m. at The Wooden Meditation Dojo, Pavillion # 2.. And we could throw One of Many Huge "Reggatta" Boat Races' Parties! (Or just any ol' party will do really, a birthday, new years, at any given moment in time! It's our own little world! And since everybody has a different idea or opinion as to what's good for who, we'll each be responsible for our own persons! (And for those of Us Most Fortunate, each other!) You know? Just as long as we're not hurting anybody, everything should be fine!) And Invite tourists to Our Little Island Community to Celebrate, and to buy our foods, and to drink our wines, and to buy our hemp clothings, and to buy our majestic jeweleries! Sell Our Movies, Sell Our Music! So some of Us are going to have to run the concession stands that day, big deal.. So Basically the question we're stuck with is 'But who will run which concession stand, or which do I want to run today?', (I suggest It's Up to You, And you get paid for It! Just be yourself that day! However you feel like doing it, or Not doing it.) and not only That, but There will probably be A Family Trust Fund, that the Island Itself would share profits amoungst it's treasure chest, , for future projects, events & Emergencies and Improvements..." (As stated below...)

So In otherwards, your boating tourism business makes $3000, each day, you could afford to donate $5, $10 or even $20 to the Community Chest... and so on...

Or, better Still, while I do believe Interpretations of the Rainbow Family as Being Lazy or Dirty, Is only All but Exaggerated, and While there will be jobs being offered to The People (US) Living on the Island(s), at all times, we're just over-flowin' with idea's over here at the factory, today? It's a Pretty darn big dream, -- we could go Island hopping, from One Hippy Island Retreat to Another, by plane or by boat!.. The Island Dream, Other's will have their own businesses, and others could work for the Island community, getting paid of course, to sustain their life style, It's Up to You!.. (Whether It's Tending to the Vegetible Garden one day, to rotating and feeding the Island Animals the next.. (But to cover our ass we must insist that the mail boat also delivers food to the islands! no food shortages!) Or To Being the Snorkling Tour Guide Operator One day with your bestfriend, to Operating the 35mm Motion Picture Film Camera and Boom Operator for The Next Great Screenplay that John and Sally cranked-out down the way..)

Hmm.. There will probably be a community Trust, to help out members of the Family if and when we're down and out on our luck - to help them get back on their feet again, to educate if need be, obviously not to redicule, To Ensure That Help that some of us might be to afraid to ask for, to help pay for health care issues - espcially if jobless, and of course the obvious one, poverty reasons - the noise, ect., and as such, eventually expanding outward into the Big Bad World, ect.. Spreading and Promoting World Peace, One Individual, at a Time!

But of course, One Thing at a Time! (Kind of Like Little Sister Watching Over Big-Brother's Shoulders - watching the watchers!) Anyways, I just wanted to say : that we're good at that... Sort of a - Exploiting the evils of the world..and taking their money...

While some can run the community Gift Shop(s), restaurante(s) and store(s), other's might be aspiring Farmer's and farm by day, and could paint by night..

We'll need Island Maintanance, Island Farming (could be done on a rotational scale, rather than being stuck on one job for the rest of your life, if you're like me, and don't like limiting yourself to any One thing, but open up the possibilites to a great Many Things..)

We would Basically be a Self-Sustaining, Functional Universe all our own! (Everything from food to entertainment.. for the right Price, of course!!)

And while the Island would be our Home, building your own house would be allowed, and renting them (is optional) but it is entirely up to you! Or maybe rent a spare bedroom to tourists, run a little bed and breakfast pad, ect., things like that... Or not, It's up to you... Best Wishes!!!

Also, another lucrative bidness idea; we can all unanamously vote on a Space Program, and hire Real Scientists, Real Space Engineers to Design us Sound Spaceship/Shuttles, and become part-time Astronauts that works with and or in the space sector, and endeavour to venture forth into Space, taking our first steps toward colonizing and colourizing the Universe, the first of Our Kind and putting an almost zero-gravity society on the moon!! Imagine : First Star Child Born on the Moon! Terraforming sounds astonishing, and is imaginable by most who would like to live free, and out from under the thumbs of terany! Running Headline In the Good News Today : First Magic Mushroom Garden Cultured in Zero-Gravity! And Planting some on the Moon Is Just the Beginning... Some more *bleep* to think about! (And to some of you this doesn't amount to a hill of beans, but to most of you, it sounds entirely like a dream come true.. Some of Us could use the jobs! Other's could help educate the class on our local cable station, on the importance of Space and You...)

In and On a more immediate obtainable turn of things, I really think though that there are more than enough entertainers in here to make the entertainment In and Of The Island Paradise Dream work and has Really Huge Money Making Possibilities! (Our Own FunPark Peace and Love Theme Park..) The Greatest Acting Job in the World! To be YourSelf! We do need money, I suggest the tourism industry in order to sustain ourselves and the community!! We'd of course spice it-up a bit!! And of course, It Must be Fun!!!

Entertaining Movies, (Educational) Television Programming, Educational Childrens Cartoons! The Island Television Station That We Broadcast to OurSelves - To Entertain the Mind, and hear only Good News, so we would naturally Act like a "Normal" Functioning Society.. (Tee-hee!) (And There's Money to be Made Selling Beautiful Pictures Program's Over Seas!) So one day, you could be an actor on the Island's favourite television Program, the next day you could be the actor, writer, and camera operator! It's Up to You - So you don't get tired of any one thing, to keep it interesting in otherwards; to change, rotate, reconfigure.. And the more jobs you do, the more money you get! And While the Island Trust is for Emergency/Improvement/Functions & Events Purposes, I wouldn't rely on It so heavily on as I would tourism! Throw an functioning event each week, a gala, a ball, someone's birthday, an Extravaganza! Invite Everybody! Tourists! Islanders! The idea is to make it fun! And That's some Idea's that make this Island Dream go 'round, a fully functioning Entity!

Well I believe the island idea could be somewhat functional im not really digging the whole money making thing.

Why the hell would we need money when there would be more than enough kind individuals on the island to sustain the place and look out for each other?

Also I think in reality alot of things would have to be sacrificed such as t.v.,computers,radios, and most modern things in order to be self sustaining.Sacrificing these wouldn't really be a bad thing though as the whole point of the island would be to live off the earth and flee from the whole capitalist thing would it not?

Besides you can have alot of fun and still live the good life without raping the earth.Heck we could have the place looking like the shire!

 

Well I myself Love Carnivals, and there are more than enough entertainers in here to know and understand that.. Some of us Want to Live in a Tee-pee! Other's want to live in a futuristic space-aged dome home! Having a Computer Is Not required! But some of US feel it's neccissary, to do proposed businesses with the worlds, and to stay in contact with the worlds, to travel, and to keep the 'pigs' at bay.. (It's Not required, but Is advised!) And Also, Taking advantage of what Is Available..Money only proves nessisary after hurricanes, and so I must therefore insist on some sort of round DELTEC like shelter and or Dome Homes for protection.. And I would Love to go home and Visit my Family Every so Oftens!! Keeping Our Options Open, even If that means Understanding How to Turn your Space-Aged Television Set Against them..
