i personally think it's the influence of south park, espescially cartman. don't get me wrong, i love south park, but think about it. "get in the kitchen and make me some pie!"

 

I watch South Park all the time. Its not south park. If cartman was influencing people, we'd have a bunch of greedy exploitationists.... wait a min...

perhaps it's not the influence of south park, but that south park is a portrait of society. that could be, as well.

 

South Park is an exaggerated version of society .. overly exaggerated.. but there are really people like that some where in the world. i am lucky enough not to know any.

I make jokes about gays, stoners, women, men, alcoholics, asians, blacks, fat people, assholes, and pretty much everyone even though i fit many of those. When I tell a stereotypical joke, it's understood that I'm making fun of the stereotype, not the person. Racist jokes can be funny, even if you aren't a racist. I think that your brother probably doesn't feel that way at heart. I'd say he says those things because he has low self-esteem and feels he can't get girls, so he says those things out of hurt he feels inside.

Its not uncommon for dudes who are very unsuccesful with women to let themselves become mysognistic(sp?) out of frustration and resentment.

I used to be kinda like him when I was 15/16, but i have learned to control myself. I'm 18, im still a virgin, and i've still never had a g/f or anything but i dont hate on all women for it anymore. Though sometimes i have to still fight back some of those feelings i admit. Its deeply, deeply, deeply ingrained in human society that the male has to feel like hes the alpha male and that he can get women. You can tell a young guy all of the modern self-empowerment stuff about "you dont need to date to be happy, love yourself, blah blah blah" and while those things definitely have truth to them the simple fact is that they are still going to fill unfulfilled if they can't get affection and attention from the opposite sex.

 

i belive that sexist people they are just being that way cause deep down they are scared that they will never find sumone to love them and take care of them ....or sumthin along those lines......so they use stupid coments to cover up how they feel or just to try n look cool amungst there friends when im sure all there friends are deep down thinkin there pathetic unless there complete JeRks and think that thats all women are good for but also sum people are brought up in cultures or familys where they think that thats all women are good for so they dont no any better, but id like to see sum of thses boys with out there mothers and ect.......
