marijuana should be legal because it helps with anxiety and depression. It should be used for medical perposes.. Hell if people want to smoke it for fun then let them if they just want to smoke it then let them... I think that people should have a say in this instead of the governemtn basically ignoring our reasons for it. I personally don't smoke it because it's just something I don't think much about and I just havent been interested in it. But for those who do then do something about it!! Stand up for your rights!! I think it should be legal!
there has been like a lot of threads about this... I dont know about that, I think it should be illegal for stores to sell it, but legal for people to have, because the companies would load it full of added shit that would make it just like a cigarette, and people would start dieing from it and the government people will be like "hahahaha i told you so" yeah, or you could just buy a flashlight, because you put your weed in there
i think its bullshit to forbid the use of a plant. The french gave it to the indochina to suppress the opposition but when it comes down to their (and other imperialistic powers') own production levels, they forbid it. another hypocracy that does too little to surprise me.
well, that, and saving a lot of money that is spent on people in prison for posession or dealing, not to mention the possible revenue of taxing and selling marijuana. it should definitely be legal, but if it contains anymore than just marijuana, the FDA would require that it was noted, naturefreak's point is kind of moot... oh well, it probably won't happen in my lifetime. anyway, i don't think americans could handle it, especially when one looks at how they abuse alcohol and tobacco. terrible lot, i'd have to say.

Not necessarily. It could be legalized to halt taxpayer money flow into prisons and the courts. It would put an end to a large amount of money poured into the war on drugs. Or it could put an end to prosecuting innocent people, who don't deserve some of the punishments some states/countries have.
i still think it should be legalized to where i can grow as much of it as i want at home, i wold hate to have to go to a store to buy it........ i am sure dealers wold still sell it, and thier prices wold go down to keep business................. it definately wold be good for us and good that weed wold be kept out of the drug war but there will always be a drug that is out there that the govt. will be at war against........
If they sold it and taxed it, there wouldn't be anymore phat hook-ups... I think it should just be decriminalized if not made legal to grow your own.
If you really wanted it to be legalized, you'd try to get people (lots of them) to syop smoking cigarettes then the tobbaco companies, like philp morris, would loose profits and they'd freak out and hire lobbyists to go lobby for legalization of Marijuana, then the'yd sell it to make profit, and they'd probably also keep from adding chemicals so that they could avoid the whole fiasco by doing that to tobbaco, and use it as a marketing ploy our governments corrupt like that....and philp morris and the bunch are corprate assholes, but they're also smart greedy corprate ass holes, and they would get it legalized if it kept their income flowing
