I just became a "citizen advocate" for NORML, a non-profit organization dedicated to marijuana law reform. I've been watching NORML.org for a few years in full support of its efforts--but it wasn't until late tonight that i decided to join, financially. this morning i gave a persuasive speech on industrial hemp to a group of 14 colleagues; it turned out to be such a success that it moved me--myself--to officially join the NORML cause!

    peace.

Congratulations, glad you're doing things for the anti-society. I'll have to look into to that once I'm older.

Don't join, do huge guerilla grows and donate 1/5 of your profits to NORML anonymously. On a 50 p load if ya got rid of it wholesale that's roughly 20-25k to NORML.

shiiiiiit.....you really think that?......come on......all these states that have decriminalized and have started medical marijuana laws despite the fact that they knoww the federal government is in opposition?......eventually the Feds will have to breakdown when more states follow the decriminalization/ medical path.........besides that, NORML doesnt say anything about legalizing marijuana...they say to decriminalize it and still punish the traffickers........its good that you joined, but you have to think positive.

yea i kno im thinkin kinda negitive, but i always hear how chill it is like everywhere else other then america, and it pisses me off... i just dont think that ne of our federal legislators have the balls to actually do something that makes sense involving drug laws, u kno?.. i mean they basically have to say "yes, mj should be legalized/decriminalized, and yes we have been feeding you bullshit for the past 70 years".. the feds admitting they're wrong.. haha

Man, you're not too inclined to give money cause you probably don't have any. I hope though that if ya made 100k+ through mary jane you would at least throw a slice of the pie their way. If not, you should put down your pipe and never hit it again.

Yeah. Kinda like I wouldnt give money to a charity that was trying to raise money to move to mars in the next 2 weeks.. its just one of those things that LOOK good but in the backs of our minds we know it wont achieve anything that will impact you or is just not gonna make it...like the money for the brain-cancer patients, lol

im stoned, so sorry if im over analyzing this.. :D

so many of you are incredibly pessimistic about this. marijuana IS ALREADY DECRIMMINALIZED IN AT LEAST 10 STATES! ...NORML is working hard ass. you have to understand that pot is gaining; there is simply no way that it will remain illegal for long. everything waxes and wanes. marijuana use is steadily increasing, as is the knowledge (both lay and scientific) about its true nature. this will inevitably lead to full decrimminalization and/or legalization.

... and aside from slowly--but SURELY--making marijuana more accepted in this country, NORML works to hopefully save the BILLIONS in tax payers' money that goes to keeping non-violent "drug" (marijuana) offenders needlessly in prison year after year.
