tell him to shut the fuck up cause you pay ten dollars a gram for beasters, 50-70 a quarter. Beasters are regular nuggets for all intents and purposes. The name comes from shit-quality BC buds (BCters = beasters) grown specifically for export to the us. They are dense nuggets, usually pretty frosted with trichomes, mostly indica, and they usually have the classic "we don't cure this bullshit for stupid americans" smell.

Usually the worst I smoke is kind or headys, but I've seen some beast in my day that actually looks pretty good. No offence, but considering that you are 14 odds are you aren't exactly smoking the best of the best(but I could be wrong). At least check it out, it could be better than what you usually smoke.

I remember an old small time dealer I knew tryed to sell me 'beasters'. It was the nastiest looking weed I had ever seen...well, second nastiest. Either way, the guy is obviously trying to rip you off for 15 dollars a gram. I wouldn't pay more than 7 dollars a gram for beasters (I wouldn't buy it in the first place).
I was under the impression that beasters were pretty okay outdoor grown buds... like not kynd bud.. but like pretty okay outdoor grown buds that'll get ya high.... but whatevers.

Whatever, as long as the shit is a bud and its green I'd say go for it. its 5 more dollars than you should pay for a gram, but I dont know what you're smoking now, so maybe it will be better... My policy is as long as its green, smells nice, and is in Bud form its worth a smoke. At least its only fifteen bucks if you get ripped off, better than buying a quarter and getting ripped off...
