heres some pictures that I made today, with the help of math. Ive set my computer to continue making 1000 more automatically what has math done for you today???
Cool pictures Mr. Migu. That's awesome. It's funny because when I was in school, I hated math, but now, I rather enjoy it. It's great when I can figure out a mathematical problem. So far, math has enable me to make homemade french toast sticks for my childrens' breakfast this morning (using measurement) and it has given me the total of money due for my oldest son's book order for school. It has also enabled me to mix the correct ratio of water to powder to concoct the antibiotics that my children are currently taking (again, using measurement). It's still only 9:30 AM here, so I'll be using more math throughout the day yet.
he may have not,, but he understands math an programed somethin sweet into a puter.. fractal geometry has been around for over 20 years,, you are dilusional to not comprehend the concept,,what more to not even grasp it would insinuate your naive,, ..
i wrote this program in commodore BASIC that was some sin waves and cos and tangents and all that good sheit. i used to play with the numbers and it would make all kinds of trippy designs and motions and anything i wanted it to do.
has anyone else noticed that jennifer "i hate math's" sig pic IS a fractal landscape? oh whell, neither here nor there. speaking of not so fun numbers, i found some simple math that probably belongs in one of the political forums. maybe i'll save it for there instead of here. it came from someone else's blog but i looks right. i used to have a comodski, and used to write little zen programs that contemplated their own belly button. at least that's what my more mensa nerdish friends described them as. as close as you could come to the kind of digital pavanes we have now that you do on one of those things back in the early days of them. i was never the math wiz to do anything nearly so trip though. just a lot of "on 'int(rnd(z))+n' gosub"s and "on 'mid$(inkey$, whatever, the format was)' goto"s those were fun to play with. then lots of 'line's, 'circle's and 'box's in the sub's themselves oh yah, and incrimented pokes to the screen. those were the days. when 8-bits were simple enough to get my simple mind arround =^^= .../\...
"on 'int(rnd(z))+n' gosub"s and "on 'mid$(inkey$, whatever, the format was)' goto"s yeah those things. 10 input "a" 20 if a>10 then goto 50 30 if a<10 then goto 60 40 if a=10 then goto 10 50 print "yaaaaaay a retarded program" 55 goto 10 60 print "woo hoo you typed a number less than 10" 70 goto 10 wow its all starting to come back to me now lol
i like math, when it works for me its pretty satisfying when you understand it and get to the end of a huge problem with a correct answer! i didnt like it much in school but i enjoyed it at uni
I just woke up so the only thing math has helped me with is deciding how pissed off to be based on the number of times the phone rang so far.
