I'd wait for September as the water is still warm and go to Block Island http://www.blockislandinfo.com/
of course I'll visit you, as long as you got a garbage bag of pot waiting for me.....and I was with a school field trip when I went to the CN tower....so technically, yes, I was a tourist. the other times though I wasn't
Up in Maine, there is a desert. I cannot recall the name of it, but it's the only desert around there. It's also one of the most haunted areas.
it is a great place. I haven't been in several years. If I was looking for a laid back place on the east coast to go for a vaca during warmer months with someone I loved, it would be high on my list
I would wait until right after labor day weekend in September. It can get a bit crowded during the summer. Not crazy crowded like Martha's Vineyard, but lots of people Then again, you might like the energy that more people can bring I haven't gone in almost ten years and look forward to going back someday
You'll find it then, plus better travel deals and weather that is equally as nice The bluffs there, the name of them escape me, are truly out of this world. Only place I've ever seen something similar is Torrey Pines beach in San Diego.
