...But morals and money get in the way .....I guess if it was already raised in captivity I could hopefully give it more then a breeder as far as time and stuff....*sigh* I guess this is why i'm gonna go into animal conservation or zoology haha!
kinkajous are very rare, and they are illegal to own also.. They are super cute.. I would love to hold one.. But own.. I dunno about that.. most of them have specific allergies.. like to strawberries.. they also need to have constant companionship, like in the wild they live amongst relatives.
I live in Texas....I honestly think any thing is legal in Texas as long as you have it checked by a Certfied Vet for diseases and such its okay...From what I understand on the Texas website.....But yeah I'm no where near experinced enough for a Kinkajou. I want to take Animal Conservation and start a Zoo :-D lol! Its been my dream since like 4th grade. *sigh* Whishfull thinking huh?
Yeah it would be great. I have an room rescue........I have a Border Collie puppy named Pirate...I live on a farm with horses, chickens, and used to be goats *we had to sell them because the draught in TX was causing hay to skyrocket and we couldn't affoard them anylonger * anyhoo, we have 2 Great Pyr to guard the chickens for coyotes and such...well when I let Pirate out I swear the first thing he does is go roll around and horse dung and run around with our pyrs so I have to wash him almost everyweek cause he stinks so bad.... Oh my god that is a long tanget sorry!
