Greetings All! Hope all is well.. I am asking for your good thoughts and energy and if you have any feelings or vibes on a lost Greyhound in NE Ohio. She doesn't belong to my pack but is a dog that recently got her first home from a race track life. She is incredibly scared and fearful of humans. She has been on the run for just over a week and the weather is turning for the worse. Like I said, her name is Maryilyn, She is a Fawn colored greyhound wearing a burgandy collar. Lots of great people are looking for her but if you have any vibes on the situation, they'd be greatly appreciated. I'm taking my two grey's today to look for her... Sometimes with a spooked dog the best chance is to have other greyhounds (It's their only safety net) Thanks for any help. Laura (Azual)
ho , azual . it may be as well to let her go , let her run and run and run as wild and free . she knows what she needs to do . of what you feel , and what she feels - i speak for her . she needs this time , and certainly may speak to you in her time . if so , then go get her .... once i had adopted a stray dog , and afterwhile it strayed on . i did care . i missed him . so i got talking to a little bird of my little sorrow . say , bird , won't you tell'm if you see'm in your far flying about town that i'd like to know about'm ... the bird looked at me deeply for a moment and pecked at its tree branch and dipped a wing then flew off with a purpose . it worked out ok . i'm saying ... nature is oneness .
I immediately pictured her cowering, scared to death, hiding under something, like under a porch or in a crawl space under a house. Hope you find her safe and sound!
That's probably likely.. She has begun hanging out by a house near where there is a heat vent... Putting out food... Though she won't let anyone get close... She is sooo scared. She's never known the love she deserves and had the care that would teach her love and trust... She is in a rural area but the roads are fast.... Also, she is a greyhound that is underweight with no witer coat. (mine shiver when it dips below 65) We'll keep trying her best and hoping that she pulls through the experience... I get that the running and being free is a wonderful experience though I think she isn't enjoying the freedom.. She is scared, cold, alone and lost. She's never had the opportunity to belong. May she find the love of one of the helping hands and know the kindness of a loving touch for once. Joy love and Happiness Laura
