I am planning a trip accross france, netherlands, and germany. Last time I was taking the trains, I was not harrassed, just a law enforcement agent walked down the cars when crossing the border from Holland to Germany. I have now heard that there are drug sniffing dogs in central station. Is this true? Also do they tend to only sniff down train passengers going to France or Germany? I also have heard that they are cracking down on people travelling over the border (random searches). I am just wondering what to expect.
