Have any of ya'll tried this? Do you know whats in it? it is fairly new and they dont have the ingredients or nutrition information aat the store yet. I jsut sent their customer service an email and asked for them to please give me that information.
Umm... nope, haven't seen it yet. I found this on their site if it helps at all: What menu items at SUBWAY® restaurants are vegan/do not contain animal-derived ingredients? The menu items that do not contain any animal-derived ingredients are the Veggie Delite® on Italian bread and the Veggie Delite® salad. Also these individual items also do not contain animal-derived ingredients: all vegetables, oil, vinegar, mustard, sweet onion sauce and Fruizle. The wheat bread and deli roll contain honey but no other animal-derived ingredients.

Ohh, I missed that. Rats. Good thing I've got a Quiznos here! Their veggie sub is waaay better & my husband likes their meatosaurus subs better too love, mom
you know everything. it's indimidating lol well good thing I never tried it then, because I was considering trying it.
Uhm, they posted an ingredient list right on this thread you know, lol. Regardless, I did actually already know that there were egg whites in it before this post ever came into imagination.
now this is why I try to limit myself to food that has the ingredients labeld or food I can see what is in it... I didn't know the vegi max had egg whites... something else I can't eat... I hate being fooled. anything that is cooked has the chance of having something in it that you don't know of... better to just avoid eating out
No, you don't have to do that... just get real good at asking to see ingredients. I've had to do this all my life, with a long list of food allergies. If you've got a good reason, most places are more than willing to show you the labels. love, mom
they also have a gardenburger at some stores and the lady just emailed me and that has egg whites AND skim milk in it....So neither are good if you are vegan, but if you are lacto ovo then you can eat either.
they make vegan boca burgers, and morning star farms has a vegan one as well. and so does Amy's. try either of those, they are all pretty good.
Dude, Amy's is THE SHIT. All of their food is great, especially for vegans. From burritos to garden burgers to asian stir fries to scrambled tofu to rice and tofu bowls. <3
Heeheehee... DH brought Amy's home for dinner I had the enchilada thingie. I LOOOOVE Amy's!!! She's even got a vegan pizza that's pretty darn good. It's got artichoke & all sorts of other stuff I'd never put on a pizza, but it is good. love, mom
This is making me soooo hungry!!!I could go for Amy's enchiladas... mmm spicy... hey, what about Panda Express, they make vegetable chow main and veggies with tofu... does anyone know if they are trully vegan? I hope so cause I just love it!
According to Panda Express' nutritional information they are NOT vegan nor vegetarian. The following quote comes from their nutritional guide; "A few reminders when you visit Panda Express: Our entrees are prepared using a chicken base; our meals are not vegetarian."
