What do/will your children call you... mam, mom, mum, dad, pa...etc? Or something entirely different?
Mama & Mummy... and they call my husband Dada & Daddy. and when she wants something, my daughter will call me "sweetest of mamas, dearest to my heart!" love, mom
Probably Just Mommy/Mom & Daddy/Dad. My parents, however, get the fun names. My mom is totally against being called grandma (or anything close to it) So our kids will call them Mama C & Papa D.
My parents are ... Mum, Mother, Susan (her full first name, to tease because she hates it) Dad To my children they shall be ... Nana, Nan (because mum likes the best, she thinks Grandma is too stuffy) Grandad (because he's turning into our Grandad) No idea about their other grandparents, they can be what they like. Think I'd like to be called Mama, though not too fussed. Long as they call me something y'know (that's suitable for saying in public, obviously). Shall let future SO choose his own term, though would probably default to Dad/Daddy.
Mama, Mommy, Ma. My dh is usually Papa, sometimes Daddy. My kids don't call us by our first names, sometimes my oldest will tease me and call me by something which sounds like my middle name, but it's just when she is goofing around. "Katermina, where's my food?" Always with an accent for some reason.
mum...though she was copying the big girls for half a day and calling me snefanie... . daddy is my dad. nana is nana and grandad alternates between grandad and boo...cause he used to make this silly boo noise at her when she was little.
