Alrightie, I'm a little afraid of what y'all might suggest but I'm getting kind of desperate here. This will be my 15th Valentine's day with my husband. And our 11th wedding anniversary follows 2 weeks later. And romantic-type creativity is just not my strong suit. though by now I think we've probably tried anything we can think of... other than truly nasty things. I've kidnapped him, picked him up from work wearing a trenchcoat, pulled the bed into the living room & lit the room with 150 candles, and all sorts of other things kinda like that already. I'm hoping for something different, but not TOO weird???

Our kiddies will be with us for Valentine's Day, and there's no way around that. But I'm taking the car & my parents will have the kids overnight for our Anniversary. So I can run out & pick out or set stuff up to my hearts content.

I've got a limited budget of $50-$75 to work with. What would y'all do? Guys... what would you WANT? And yeah okay, I know what all guys want... but what ELSE would you want???

Please go easy on my "virgin" eyes... I dunno how much I can take ;) but I really could use some ideas too.
    love,
    mom

you seem to have already had some awesome ideas!!!!! Uh....... Let me think on it.
I could use some ideas myself, I haven't been with my man near as long as you though.. (4 years)

Oh, this is one idea i like: If weather permits, go on a family picknick somewhere nice.
Let the kids help with preparing the food or snacks. I bought a heart shaped cookie cutter to make sandwiches with! Take some wine. I dunno, you have probably thought of that! but it is relatively cheap, fun & heart felt. You can take a camera to take some nice photos too...
