    I dig it, great chops!

I had the good fortune to catch Jeff Beck and SRV tour together, and both were stunning. Not to mention the backing bands, assorted double troubes and session guys like Terry Bozio. A great player, both live and studio, Jeff has the plucking blues riffs down pat.

Jeff Beck is great. I saw him a couple of years ago in Dallas @ Crossroads Guitar Fest, he was onstage w/ Eric Clapton.....it was awesome

It's true the Yardbirds strarted out as a fantastic blues band.
And Picture this; Jimi Page, Jeff Beck & Eric Clapton all hold roots in the yardbirds! This is the divine guitar triangle takeing form here...
    imagine...

Eric whas the first to leave, becuase the Yardsbyrds were taking things a bit to poppie. (so i can imagine this isn't to everyones likeing, inc mine. but they have some great songs, it's more the role in retrospective that makes is such a special group)
And Jimi Page used to play bass!

Truth is probably my favorite Jeff Beck blues album...also has Rod Stewart on vocals...mostly covers but they nail every one.
