i was kidding about copyrighting :p people can do what they like with my images, s long as the ydont claim them as being thier own. because thats lies. I like to be told where my images are going... just cos it makes me happy when people say "i want to print it and put it on my wall" i wont say no... i will say thank you :)

i know. lol. i know how copyrights work. i also know that i don't like when people use my images and claim them as their own too, so i understand. i think it's a really awesome image though.

I really like your style - almost quite symbolic - the face and that blazing shield could be like the symbol for a band - I think it works without colour but would look good with aswell. My regards to Brighton - I comitted a terrible crime there.I left my degree piece - a painting made out of 22 wooden tiles that fitted together to make a tree of life - out on the seafront by where the west pier used to be for anyone to take.I don't even have any photos of it - it took me a year to do!! I was a derranged art student at the time!! (1991) Do you know alleycats? Is it still running?

aah yea ally cats is still up and going. bought out by the barracuda chain now but its not a bad company really so its still same old ally cats. i work in the george (veggie pub on trafalgar street) and its owned by the same company. tis nice.

Ah yes, soundsjust like something a brighton art student does actually :p im on the Performance and visual arts course at brighton so i know what you mean :p Im sure photos of it dont compare to memories... photos freeze memories, where as without photos memories stay kinetic.

I did the same course - VPA - when I started it was at the building opposite the royal pavillion - sorry I don't mean to take your thread over with stuff about Brighton! I'll send you a pm if thats ok - I'm quite interested to ask you about it.So have you got any more artwork? It'd be great to see more...

This an interesting statement - though if your memory is as bad as mine,it often doesn't stay kinetic for very long..kind of dissapears into the mists of time...!

haha yea my memory is very similar. i forget names and faces and things... but i remember amaziong details of things others forget. so people go "jesus fleassy!! how the fuck do you remember that!! your memoriys terrible and yet you can remember that!" hehehe

I got you pm, and im perfectly happy to chat as much as you like about brighton :)

I'll post images of the exhibition when its up :)
