well from what what i have learned in sex ed and from my ob/gyn the reason the vagina is acidic is to kill any bacteria that may get into the vagina also (like you said) since the semen is alkine (SP???) the acid in the vagina kills most of the sperm. pussy secretions are acidic but depending on the person and their diet it may or may not be so acidic.
