my mom has really strict rules, and its my senior curfew is 12:00. some of you might not think that is bad but it is when she calls me and checks up with me every 30 minutes. If i am going to someones house she even makes me write down the address and phone number! well enough about her, so my friend lauren told me to call her after work because we were going to go to my friend marty's house. well i called her and called her and even texted her and no answer or call back. well it was already 9:30 so now its 10:00 and there wont be any point in driving 15 minutes to hang out for maybe 50min to an hour. to me its just so stupid! im mad that she might have ditched me and i am also mad that my mom wont let me stay out any longer than that. it just plain sucks. i hate being ditched!
I know what you mean about your curfew. Mine is 12... and I am a senior. My mom has to know everything... like you know how it is if you say you are going to ur friends house at 6 you are going to be doing something else, and you wont know what it will be until it happens you cant just plan everything out and stick to the plan, and then go home if your parents dont like the plan. My mom is like you gotta tell me who all is going to be with you where all you are going, and if its raining then I cant go... she has some sort of phobia with storms/rain. But its not as bad as it use to be. When I turned 16 my curfew was still like 9:30. It was still 11 up until this past summer when my sister told her why was she making me come home that early when her curfew was 12:30 when she was that age...
being ditched does suck.. it's worst when a friend is supposed to come over to help you out with something though, and is completely unreachable... grr as for curfews, well, I'd say they make sense and are usually reasonable. Ditto for you giving her the persons number and address, in case your cell gets turned off or somethign bad happens at least she knows where last you were supposed to be
