yaknow, I've never really understood it I mean.. oh no, that persons skin pigmentation is different than mine! Oh dear god, that must mean they are immeasurably different in other ways and inferior to me, right? ermmm... by that logic, I'm also inferior to most others because I'm so ridiculously pale I could almost pass for albino some days I just don't get it I mean, if someone has significantly different skin colour than you, it probably means they aren't your long lost sibling that you're potentially dating. It's just... they have different ancestors than you. Isn't that a good thing, makes it more interesting than if they had exactly the same history as you? arg. All this black this black that stuff, native rights (which are different htan human rights now precisely?) and asian cowboys, it's all so terribly confusing. I don't understand why anyone should care about skin pigmentation or past ancestry, it doesn't change who the person is inside does it? I mean, we're all bloody and red and squishy on the inside.

it's all just the politics of devide and concur. of course it doesn't make any sense. it doesn't and never did. it's just that there are people in public office because they managed to get groups of people who would otherwise have united against them to go for each other's throats of trivial and superficial differences instead. and it isn't unique to race. idiology, economics, religeon, even geography, you name it, has at one time or another used in the same way. social standing is another perenial favorite. as recently sexual orientation seems to have largely supplanted race, perhapse in an attempt to make the game less obvious. =^^= .../\...
You know whats even worse than reverse discrimination? Reverse reverse discrimination. That is people using reverse discrimination as a justification to keep being straight out racist. The result is obviously reverse reverse reverse discrimination, and it just goes on from there. Racism is ignorance.

Yeah, my uncle uses the fact that italians and chinese in Australia are often "reverse" racist against white europeans as an excuse to keep on being racist against them. Its hard to explain to him that not all of them are reverse racists, or he just doesn't care, do you get my meaning...it happens, its very stupid.

im: You're Canadian. Come down here where people act differently, talk differently, eat differently etc. based on color. Get threatened with death cause "youse a white BITCH" and see what your take on it becomes. Yeah, but I'm from Saskatchewan. Spent half my life in Prince Albert, SK... I've seen racism, I've even been insulted because I'm white by Native people, but that doesn't mean I understand the rationale behind it at all. I don't understand why my grandparents and dad are so terribly racist sometimes, it makes no sense to me

I second that one. As for the topic of reverse racism, I don't give a fuck what people of "other races" do or say to me, I will not hold prejudices based on colour, nor will I hold all people of one colour responsible for the actions of some racist individuals. We should take responsibility for our own actions and attitudes, thats why i'll scoff at a racist white person before anyone else.
