My job and the forums

are sooooo much alike it's not even funny. At both places there's a few mature, reasonable people and a bunch of immature fucks. Not to mention that there are so many people that don't stay it's not even funny. Then you've got those who quit(leave) and get fired(banned), but come back repeatedly even though it's been made obvious it's not working out. Kind of odd. Plus there's a whole lot of chaos revolving around nothing going on.

 

Well you can quit, live with it, or start your own business. Those are the options I always hear. Here is an option worth listening to and here goes. Find the people you can stand and stand by them. Make the best of the situation with the friends you surround yourself with and make life enjoyable. Sure there are nuts and no brainers but there are a lot of good people as well. I felt really lonely for a long time and it didn't help that my Grandma was dying and that no one wrote to see how I was doing. I learned that the trouble usually last a little while. (The lazy shiftless and abusive useally leave on their own are get escorted out with a smile.) The work changes and some people you once disliked becomes more compelling. Chin up, whistle, take a deep breath and even the worst situation changes for the better when you're having fun. (The silly ones may not seem like much but somtimes they are just the coping mechanizm you need.) Just enjoy yourself and remember that for all the ones you don't really care for even if you just made one friend then you are really blessed.

The biggest resemblance between this place and my job though, is that while you talk to a decent number of people most of the people are just another name, and it takes 2-4 weeks to realize somebody's gone.

 

i'm all by myself....no one else is like me...well, in my mind that is....haha

 

Actually you're one of the few that actually remind me of a particular person.....

 

I feel the same way about my job. I mean they let this guy Jason come back down so many times. He would quit if he did not get his way. Then he would come back down. Cause he knows he needs this job. But he fucked up big time. He told my (boss) to fuck off then he flipped him off. He is not aloud back with alliance ever; he has call my boss (Dave) 15 times asking if can come back down. Dave has said no!! Every time he called.

Good thing I suppose. He's a good, likable kid. Probably not quite as mature as you, but overall you guys have a lot of similarities from what I've read.

actually, it would be a pretty interesting fight if that ever happend. we've horsed around a few times freshman year, we were pretty even on who won and lost each time we rolled around. but i'd rather have him on my side than the other side
