I only listen to them occasionally, but when I do I always love it... Not too sure why I don't listen to more actually. Anyway, my point is that everyone should give them a chance, even though they may seem a bit weird at first sometimes. Mark E. Smith is fucking terrific and anyone who says otherwise is a liar.
I've loved The Fall since I first heard them in '78. Seen them live more than any other band (40+ times) between then and just a few months back. Bit of a slump in the late 90's but back with a vengeance lately. They'll never top the stuff they did in their first 15 years consistantly but the odd track comes close.
