Nuclear weapon free zone (NWFZ) in the Mid East/World? What about that?

    reposted of Mark Gaffney

Friends, we must work together to prevent a catastrophe. We must stop the next Middle East war before it starts.

The US government must turn over to the United Nations the primary responsibility for resolving the deepening crisis in Iraq, and, immediately thereafter, withdraw US forces from the country.

We must also prevail upon the Israelis to sign the Nonproliferation Treaty (NPT) and open all of their nuclear sites to IAEA inspectors.

Only then can serious talks begin with Iran and other states to establish a nuclear weapon free zone (NWFZ) in the Mid East –– so essential to the region’s long-term peace and security.

Your big bloody war ship The Ronald Regan was just here on a stop over. They said it had nuclear reactors etc and the thing was freakin massive. Of course the best bit was all the rubbish that washed ashore after it left :$ Thought they would've at least had a bin on board.

Here's a novel idea ~ how's about all nations use their entire combined military budgets to provide enhanced living conditions equally for all people worldwide.

Making friends might then supercede making enemies.

lying in a field has called me a joke loads of times. don't take it too personally.

what you have said is quite amusing because its so "top gun".

I don't necessarily disagree with all your points but the whole "I'm an American soldier and I'm gonna kick ass" thing is a bit strong.

Eric T Cartman, I laughed at you in another thread. It is as gary.newelluk says, the "top gun" thing, like "my missile is bigger than your missile" sorta thing. Absolutely no malice in it, and no need to feel threatened or get angry. Personally I love to hear others views, even if I don't always agree. Chill, it'll be fine, and I'm sure no-one thinks you're afraid.

i agree with "Wond'ringAloud" sumone might laugh at something said but that doesn't mean that they are making fun of or ridiculing you. and i think that also as stated listening to others view you dont agree with is wonderfull. if all you here is ppl who say your right then how do you check to make sure you believe what you say and can back it up?
