In their campaign to make women feel good about their breasts they've called sagging breasts that have breastfed as 'mature' while calling some beautiful, firm, young (20 yr old) breasts of women who've never been pregnate as 'immature', it left me thinking 'my, aren't we jealous'.

 

Great site, drumminmama! That dude who lactated has classic "gynecomastia" and probably one of a [small percent of men who developed glandular structure in his teenage years.

Wow, I found some that look just like mine. Middle age woman with middle sized breasts who nursed her children. Hmmmmm. Isn't me, but looks like them.

hee heee hee hee. Well, they haven't been utilized yet. That would be defined as "immature." (Big wink, OK? )

 

makes me think i should take a pic of my flubby belly and put it up there. my bf considers it just as sexual as my breasts, always grabbing and saying "it's just like one big boob!" (in a nice way)

I understand that the purpose of the site is to highlight the FUNCTIONAL side of breasts, but something like that would be an interesting comment at the bottom along with "But do people think HIS breasts are something sexual?"

 

Yeah, my dh loves my Italian "Ghetto Booty." Said last night "It was why I asked you out." LOL!

 

I read that in some tribal comunities, "mature" hanging breatst, from women that nursed multiple children are seen a lot more attractive, then young firm ones.


Good article! I am very happy, that in Europe, breasts aren't such a taboo.

You are 15, you stop liking mature breasts when your mama weans you, and then get mad at them, and then, when you become a mature grown man, you realize the good work they do, and like them again.

 

It is actually not the breastfeeding that causes breasts to sag. It is a combination of genes (some families and people from parts of the world sag more than others) age, and size. Big breast are going to sag earlier than small ones. The number of pregnancy also plays into it. Pregnancy causes breasts to lose some elastic quality to them. But, if you were to take heredity, age, age of childbirths and size into account, and take a womyn with 5 kids who breastfed and a womyn with 5 kids who didn't, the amount of sag and would be the same.

 

It also depends a whole lot on other history - since mine change size a lot dpending on my cycle and weight, when they're smaller they tend to have extra skin and, thus, *look* saggier...

 

Thanks for posting that site. I really like it. I'm a small chested lady, and have always wished mine were just a BIT bigger for the sake of being proportioned. I'm a big boned girl and not fat but not skinny, so my boobs don't fit me. I love that site because it made me realize that my boobs are actually kind of nice looking, despite being small, so I am really thankful for the way they look now even if they aren't bigger.

 

Ohhh, mine DON'T look quite as old & ugly as I'd thought! And those silly bumps have a name??? Montgomery glands, huh... and here I thought they were well-placed moles Yeah, mine looked more like the lady whose had 7 kids... kinda scary really, I didn't nurse NEARLY that long!

i have got to be honest and say that I have never seen anything so wierd in all my life.
Now I know I have amazing breasts, cuz mine look nothing like any of those.

A pro-bra poster on that site has mentioned that in there are regions where women don't wear bras and breasts of even young, not large girls sag -- she attributed it to lack of bras, i wondered how much of that was genes.

Take a look at b4 pix from breast enlargement companies on the net and you'll find some small (AA and smaller) breasts that sag. Like Bree I was relieved, tho mine are too small for a bra they are round, perky and they don't sag.

a pro-bra poster, on THAT website??? You gotta be kidding me! That's the website i always reference when people are asking about plugged ducts, breast cancer, and such, because bras are so bad for your breasts' health. Now I gotta check out the link and see how much of that place has changed...
And in areas where women do not wear bras, ever, breast cancer is virtually unheard-of.

anectdotal story, I know. but I've always been very well-endowed, but perky. I never wore a bra in highschool (never could find one that fit properly, but I didn't know that was the problem at the time). I didn't start sagging until after the birth of my first child, and my breasts went up to a J cup, at age 32.

 

i guess the argument that breasts are non sexual items makes no sense to me since if they weren't supposed to be sexually viewed, it wouldn't be possible. i know they're utilitarian & such, and the perception of them as sexual is a cultural thing, just like feet, but feet turn some people on, too. i guess i just don't believe that concept. some people are turned on by sexy legs, some people are turned on by butts, some people like breasts. my husband does in fact go nuts over a nipple. he doesn't care what sort of woman's breast it's on, he sees happy little nerve endings. breasts make him happy. i don't really care about how he's been socialized. women's asses are just for walking and sitting, but you don't really expect to see a bared ass in public. yes. it's silly that women get such flack for breastfeeding their babies, but so long as i don't care that someone is turned on by my breast, i don't mind feeding in public. no one worries about how some man may be turned on by their bare legs when they're wearing shorts, why should we care if they're turned on by the breast?

 

That website had alot of truth to it. If women walked around shirtless nobody would care about breasts. I've never really been a breast person. I just want to say that breasts don't turn a man on, its the fact that showing a man the breasts is sexual so that triggers fantasys that turn a man on. Same with the pussy, and everything else, they trigger fantasys, they themselves don't cause the men to get an erection. His fantasys do.

BTW, many people think man boobs are hot. Why do guys have nipples anyway?
