Directions to the Turtle Island World Rainbow Family Gathering, near Lac Pomponne, in La Vérendrye Park:

Go to La Vérendrye Park on hwy 117 to the road 28
ouest 10 minutes north of Accueil Rapid Lake.

You drive until km marker 72 km on Road 28 ouest and turn on the road to Ward lake at the sign on your left.
After 5 km you get to a T. Turn left at the T for 5 km on road 20 east and cross two bridges.

After the second bridge drive 1.5 km more and you are Home. Welcome Home with the Family!

If you come on the Greyhound bus, ask to be dropped at Le Domaine, in La Vérendrye Park, which is about one hour drive from the site. There is a restaurant and gas station there where you can wait for a ride.

For those who are on their way to the gathering:

In Montréal, the tamtam jam on Mont-Royal every sunday afternoon is a good place to make contacts. Also, there is a camper village next to La Fontaine Park, east of downtown, where some of the Family have been staying. The vegan restaurant Aux Vivres, on St-Laurent street just north of Mont-Royal avenue is also a good connection point.

If you want to get out of town, take the Greyhound bus to St-Faustin.
It will drop you just over a km away from the base camp at 401 chemin des Quenouilles, phone: 1-819-688-3270. It is still 3 hrs away from the gathering, but there might be rides leaving from there from time to time.

If you are driving, the vegan restaurant Pachamama, in Val David, 20 minutes south of St-Faustin and just 2kms off highway 15, is also a very popular meeting point of the Family (closed on monday).
    Guidance! Happy trails!
Welcome Home with the Family!

Protection! Bon voyage!
Bienvenue chez vous avec la Famille! -Bô-
