Sending my apologies for the Queens Day meet

Despite whats previously been said/arranged I will no longer be making the trip over for Queens Day this year, my apologies.

Its taken a good few days sorting out but I now have hotels and 2 group stage England tickets (Trinidad & Sweden) for the World Cup in Germany, and for the majority of 21 year old English lads this certainly comes before any holiday I can ever think of.

I will still be travelling to Dam this year, but due to the cost of my Germany trip that'll prob not be till around December. I'll post dates of that trip on here so if anyone is in Dam whilst I am, I would be more than happy to meet for a beer and smoke.

I just hope the amount of money im going to be spending and missing a trip to Dam is worth it, so for fuck sake England dont let us down !!

No really they have got a great chance but i hope they dont win as we havnt heard the last about 66 yet.The only country in the world to win the world cup with a score of 2-2!!!!

btw where did you get tickets and how are you going ,flying or overland,if latter why not have a few days in the dam chillin before heading for germany.

 

swasw1, sorry to hear you not making it to the meet/queensday this year, there's always 2007.....now who the hell is going to baby sit us yanks? You'll have a great time in Germany.....lived there (Stuttgart) for about 7 years and visit as often as I can. Where are your games being played? Got tickets thru a mate that follows England all over the World, member of the supporters club. He can't make Germany tho, so I stepped in for 2 tickets and another mate has taken the other :H

As for the trouble question, England cant play in a World Cup in Germany and there be nothing happen, some form of trouble is inevitable to be fair !! And im flying so a stop of in Dam is not possible, unfortunatly !!

 

The 2 games im going to are being played in Nuremburg and Cologne. Never been to Germany in my life so know nothing about either place.

Be sure to post plenty of pics from the meet on here so I know what I missed, and im not saying anything for definate but I am now determined to join you all in 2007 if a similar thing is arranged.

 

I heard the first round tickets were only €35.
Wish I knew.!

 

I paid £80 for the 2 I got, but like I say they were from a mate, not official ticket sellers.
