that's funny.... and i bet there wont be a huge deal about it either. mature people just ignore things that are immature if they bug them.
i'm not convinced that's always the safest thing to do. but avoiding giving publicity to what is potentialy damging makes sense. not making a big deal out of something isn't exactly the same thing as ignoring it. and i don't thing the distinction is trivial either. prejudice of all kinds, not just racial or religeous but even economic exist and are created precisely because keeping people stirred up at each other is the only thing that prevents people, all people, from realizing they DON'T need to be led AT ALL. =^^= .../\...
what i find disturbingly pathetic is how people go along with being stirred up against each other. how even the minimalist humor of a little bit of irony can keep people from realizing this. you may not know this, but a lot of people were saying the same thing about hitler immediately before he was able to cease power in the first place. i'm not saying it's not good to distract ourselves from fear and over riding concerns, of course it is up to a point. it's just sometimes ignoring them won't make it go away. and people taking out a ligitimate grevence against other people who have legitimate grievences that are not actualy against each other but that each have been manipulated into immagining are, well sometimes i wish i could share appreaciation for this kind of humor and sometimes i'm just glad i can't. =^^= .../\...
