This is a great cd. The Roadrunner record label brought together people from bands on their label and they made a cd. It's a damn good cd. Bands include Slipknot, Cradle of Filth, Soulfly, Sepultura and many others. They also put together a dvd that comes with the cd. The songs on this cd that are real metal are fucking awesome. They recently signed Satyricon, which I don't get because Satyr has his own label, Moonfog productions, which was doing okay as far as I'm aware.
I honestly hated all of the songs. (Yes, even the King Diamond) Maybe because I'm not really 'for' mainstream music. Plus, it was a money scheme! Roadrunner is not the record lable for Metal. I'd say the 3 that come to my head the quickest are Metalblade, Nuclear Blast, and Moribund. You really have to have an ear for death/black metal. I do love Dragonforce, though. Don't get me wrong. RR has some...if few... good bands.
i got the cd for christmas, and iv listened to it a lot... it has some good songs on it, but i think there is also some absolute crap. it was a good idea though to fuse the roarunner allstars and all though. i also liked the dvd that came with it, they had some cool footage of stuff on it
