I found some of the cutest jewelry wire ever yesterday! It's jewelry wire coated with a colorful plastic coating, and is so bright and happy looking :)

I made some more pieces of jewelry for my locks, and wanted to share the fun!

Gruvenmama, sorry I havent been on K.L for the past week or so.... been swamped with trying to get stupid taxes done and doing the normal job thing :-(

Would you drop me an email, and tell me what length, size, etc. you are thinking, and I'll send you a couple out just for being so sweet and super patient? Let me know what color you like, and I'll send you one of the fun colored ones, and one of the sterling silver ones, too.

    My email addy is: dreadiegems@aol.com

Arlia, I've made so many of these (because it's so addicting!) that I literally have them all over my house. I'm always giving them to people I know as gifts, because they work great to slide over braids, too. My daughter and niece both love to wear them, and neither of them have locks. What's sort of funny is that my niece and daughter have also decided they make funny looking rings.... and have occassionaly worn them on their fingers. They are silly, silly girls ;-)

Earthymama, I know exactly what you mean about missing the locks when they are'nt there anymore. Whenever I'm without locks I feel so sad about it..... I swear the first time I lost my locks (due to a horrible bleach episode) I felt like I had a limb removed. I cried for over a week..... it was total devestation :-(
