Well, she said this year it would be about me, but I don't know.....I think I'll have to do something for her, and it will have to one up what I did last year. Can always use the extra brownie points anyway, right? Any Ideas of what I could do, non-sexually? (I've got that part covered).....And I don't want it to be something stupid and cheesy, like something she would expect, you know? Like, candy, flowers, dressing up in any way, just won't cut it. What are some really good things you've all done or are going to do for Valentine's day? I'll start off by telling you what I did last year. Feel free to steal it.....First, I surprised her with a ridiculously over-the-top homemade meal, and made sure my family was out for the evening. After dinner, I lead her to the bathroom, where I had a full hot bath in a room with candles and incense. In the water, I had put about a hundred rose pedals, and mixed a rose extract in with some oils. I had her climb in, and poured two some glasses of brandy-ice-wine in little crystal glasses, then I got out a massage tool that I found at the mall, and gave her a full body massage. Now I need to do something else, and something better.......
Personally, if my boyfriend did that for me, I'd think it was UBER cheesy. Of course, most people would think that the stuff we do for eachother is cheesy too. Why don't you make her something? From the heart? Here's to get you started. http://www.hipforums.com/forums/sho...55&page=1&pp=10
What about a gift certificate to a spa, with a full body massage. I have given these to friends and family, the females love it and are so relaxed when they get back. For the ladies that never get spoiled they will love it. You could also do whatever her favorite thing to do is, go shopping, a boat ride down the lake, or just take a drive to spend the day where she has never been before and look at the scenery! A place in the country with trees would be nice.
Yeah, it was cheesy, but Valentine's Day is cheesy on a whole. Unfortunately, my girlfriends is a hopeless romantic, and if I said anything like "oh it's just an over-rated commercialized holiday" she'd be like "well, fine..." and then you know what happens from there.....no good. But really, the last thing she needs is another stuffed animal, or baked goods that she won't eat, or a massage (she goes to massage school, gets them every day when other students need to practice). And I'm not creative enough to make her something....trust me, it would be really crappy. Sigh............
Well if she likes cheesy, what about a rose delivered to her every hour of the day? And PLEASE vary the color... pink & white are just as acceptable on Valentine's day. And she may get massages every day from other students, but how about a professional manicure or pedicure??? love, mom
hmm, personally i would absolutely LOVE a pendant from nattywraps... http://nattywraps.com/ no, i'm not spammin for him, i just think he's really an amazing artist.
Jasmine Tea Hearts! Basically a Jasmine flower wrapped in a bunch of green tea leaves, to form the shape of a heart. They look fabulous when they bloom.
Steal her some flowers, you know, some that are mega diffficult to steal, and makesure youre hands are all cut up when you give them to her. "Babe, i went through hell to get these for you because I love you so much"
