Is it possible that not only everything which has the current possibility of existing, occurring and taking place occurs all at once in an instant, but that it is only a single occurrence of a Superverse in a sea of continuous Superverses all playing out the individual possibilities of physical existence? Darcy J.C.
Yes that is very possible. In fact that is quite what my view on reality is. That every moment that we see as a seperate happening is really part of a universal "now". We invented a time and space for everything that is happening so we can view every moment that is encompassed in this now as a separate structure, but it's all part of a single stream of life. Or rather, a better analogy would be a single burst of light. Just a thought. -bird-
actualy this is a conversation/debate me and bird here have had many a time. it was slightly more heated way back when but there is no way to beat her it seems and she has me pretty convinced on this aswell. but i go back and forth on the subject, pretty much it is possible but there are very few things that actualy aren't.
The superverse is eternal information. The actuallity of actually occurring is the differential twist out of it would cause every possiblility to occur in a seperate location in the same universe. Whitehead in the 30's explains much of this in better detail but in different words.
yeah, i dont think she would mind telling you more if you asked. the only problem that i have with the theory (this is where the debate comes in) is it seems to me that if everything in everytime was hapening right now, that there is nothing but the now and everything that has happend or will happen is happening now that you wouldn't have the choice of what your going to do, because youv done it an infinite number of times allready in an infinite number of universes. however you could just be choosing which path of the diferent now your choosing to reside in, so it gets kinda odd. and yes...i would like to learn to fly.
You see though, in every now that exists there are infinate streams of nows in which everything happens at once, but because of your conciousness you can choose what now you wish to exist in. When you get tired of this now, your body shuts down and you can move on to the next one as you wish. You have an infinate number of choices and can create any now that you wish to create. What you believe, and what your perception is, decides the entire fabric of your reality. -bird-
good point, i think for the first time the phrase "you are allways free to chose a different future or even a different past" makes sense. sorry if i didn't quote it just right dont feel like pulling out my book and looking it up.
