Well, not exactly, I am a network admin for a hospital, and my coworkers gave me the nickname... I guess I am able to make things work or not work pretty well... heh... I don't do anything malicious, but the user name certainly has prompted a lot of requests...
Don't let the hospital know that you might not be able to make things work well. It might make them nervous. The networking that you do doesn't effect any of the patients needs does it? All kidding aside my husband also works with computers. He writes computer programs. It's a mentally time consuming job.
Yes, what I do does affect patients. We handle everything that has to do with patient data. Nothing is farmed out. I did nothing but programming in school, and yes it is a naggingly repetative process. I do very little now, just some visual stuff to automate tasking, etc.
