Well I sittin here bored and thought back when I made bhang, out of pot I had bought. I got extremely high but had an odd feeling in the middle of my chest, feels almost the same as that bursting/burning pain you get during the stomache flu. But ya back to my question, are the pesticides deadly over a long period of time, cuz I dont wanna end up dying because I thought eating some weed might feel better than smokin it.
No clue, but what recipe did you follow? I see the same recipe everywhere that starts off with boiling the bud in water, I really would like to know wtf this step is for, since thc is not water soluble I thought? I'm going to make some tonight because I want to get frizzled.
well I added like a cup of milk and a cup of water, and then the weed and had it simmering for like 40 minutes, whenever the milk seemed like it was gettin really think or missing to much Id add a bit more water until the milk was greenish, then I strained it and drank it. And I felt it like an hr later.
The nugs are boiled because THC needs heat to be activated to get you high. Most recipies ive seen deal with butter, though. Good luck.
That's not true about heating to "activate." I guess if you're trying to explain the process to someone with a half rotted brain, sure. Most recipes use butter because thc is fat soluble, not water soluble. Like I said, the boiling in water is an unnecessary step as far as i can tell. I can see adding water to dillute the milk so it doesn't get too too thick though.
boiling weed will most likely destroy the THC, or atleast make the bud weaker, ya I added the nesquick chocolate milk mix, and the whole time I was fucked up I felt like puking but never did.
For the most part, bud is safe to eat. I guess the grower could be using dangerous pesticides, but I don't see why he would. I'm not sure, but I think if your eating a dangerous pesticide, smoking it would be equally as bad.
Yea my thoughts exactly, what's fucked is the recipe is all over the place, and quoted as being from some book about the flavors of india.
ya, all I know is I wont be eating bud again any time soon, maybe after the summer when my plants finish off.hopefully this time nothing fucks that up.
actually, i've read that the thc in bud is actually thc-cooh, and heat gets rid of the carboxyl group. not positive though.
