It was something new and beautiful and REAL for all of those destitute middle-class kids, and they loved it and jumped right in. Now my guess is that the creators of those links above are the same exact kind of people that need such a change....so what happened? Why all the hatred? Why is it cool to pick on hippies? Is this a trick of the media? Or maybe just a general mass change in consciousness? What is happening in the world these days that makes peace love and freedom things to laugh at and spit on...and even hypocricize in some situations. I guess the robots are going to take over and destroy the real humans. Do they laugh at the Buddhists and Hindus and other peace loving folk as well? Is there something so terribly disgusting and wrong with simplicity and happiness? I dunno...any answers?
"Hippies will do free work to clean up the world (those suckers love earth)." So the average person is just to lazy to clean up the earth, and rather destroy it with polution and garbage... that is just lame, along with every other sentence in those links.

damned ..those rants on those sites reminds me of the 60s ......course i never listened to them then either .i figured they were all jealous of the lifestyle ..........critizise what you don't have and want ....just like the person who is the biggest gay basher ..for the majority is a latent homosexual trying to hide his true feelings
