am i the only one who thinks our president is not to be trusted? (that's an understatement!) okay,i do agree that saddam needed to be outta iraq because he is truely evil (saddam's on a hunger strike....haha...let him starve! ) but we were lied to by this current administration. they knew he did not have wmd's! and what about other countries who have evil leaders who slaughter many innocent people? not only is bush dishonest and selfish but he is an idiot!!! i do not trust him, dick the vp and definately not rumsfeld,he's another dishonest selfish evil person. these people do not have our best interests at heart! thank god bush cannot run again and pray that a good decent man is elected next term! YES i do support our troops. i also feel very badly for them. the situation over there is totally snafu and who knows when this mess will end. flashbacks of vietnam anyone?????????? what happened to the people in our country who used to stand up and protest the wrongs in our society? what happened to the attitudes and ideals of the 60's? these are the same people who are know old enough to have some power in our current government...where did they go???? did "the man" win? todays society is too passive...like cattle.....going with the flow and not even thinking about having an opinion either way,let alone voiceing that opinion? is there hope for us? what can we do to convince people that this country belongs to all of us and changes are imperative!! i know i'm not the only one who is scared of bush, because i do not trust him. he's an idiot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (the most honest news reporting out there these days is the daily show! if you haven't already, check it out on comedy central. they are telling the truth!)
Yes, yes, yes--the president IS all of those things--but America is a democracy, and it's the majority (of what, 51%?) that wanted him to guide the country into the brave new world. I do agree about the passive society thing though...I mean, come on...kids see beheadings on the television, pictures of suffering and hatred, and they sigh and say.."oh, too bad...so, what're Brad and Angelina up to?" But the man can't have won yet...because look at everyone here! The sixties crowd's grown up, and switched their priorities, I guess--most have children and houses and not a lot is out there that they'd put before the well-being of their "new" lives. So, they've just got to impart their wisdom onto their kids...and, hopefully, things'll continue to move in a cycle... hahah, biggest point is, you aren't alone!
well, he did have a C average at Yale, his speeches contain various fallacies of logic, grammatical and pronunciation mistakes, and I can't honestly think of one "smart" or beneficial thing that he has done. But I do believe that he has the potential to be a good person, just not one fit to govern a nation.
C average at where? oh Yale. alright. must be a dumbass to make average grades at Yale. I mean its not like his SAT score was significantly higher than average. Oh it was. shit. Now you can argue that his policies suck, and that he has no ability when it comes to speaches, and you might be right. Hell, illogically compare than man to Hitler. whatever. But he isn't a stupid man.
bush is a clown he is a a little puppet all he has to do is say written speaches and make silly faces and most the normal people go by it while most of the others no that he is being mulipinated (<< srry if i spelled that wrong) by higher powers so who really runs this nation one person or a group.....i want to find out some time
: I have found a website that show Mr. George W Bush let September 11 2001 happen or had something to do with it. I think Hitler died a long time ago and if you take a look Mr. George W Bush there is your new Hitler he wants to rule the world .We must stop him before he starts world war 3.So here is the website where you can find what I’m talking about http://www.letsroll911.org you tell me what’s going on here. check this site out http://p4.forumforfree.com/index.php?mforum=cyberhippies
I agree. Bush is an IDIOT!!!!!!!!!! And he is a liar & a bigot, too. no way he could have good intentions... Sometimes (often) I feel very depressed about the government & the sorry state of the world in general. However, there IS hope. I really know what you mean about kids not giving s___ about injustice & war. Becuz I'm a kid, & I am a member of a local peace & justice group. & Almost every Saturday, I attend an hour and a half peace vigil on a busy street corner. last november, I did some campaigning for Kerry. I have been the only kid at any of these events. I feel so alone in my age group... It just doesn't make sense.... this is our FUTURE!!!!!!!!! From talking 2 other kids, I have noticed that it's just not "cool" to be involved, or even 2 care about politics & the world. However, I have found that going 2 these peace vigils can be very encouraging - I see half the peace sign sometimes, but there is often so much positive feedback from drivers... now, that doesn't mean that they all are going to get active. But I think that it's important for people and decision makers to see people protest. I wrote about this issue in my blog. here's the link: http://www.flowerchild.b-logging.com/speak_or_you_have_no_chance_of_being_heard_3.htm Peace out, Autumn
I agree entirely, "he" (i put that in quotes because i dont honestly believe he thinks of it himself ) invades Iraq under false pretenses while the rest of the world watches. Then 'oh okay, so, yeah, he lied to us....whatever'. NO one said shit-thousands of civilians have been killed, when the point was to harm the minimal number, not to mention the number of american soldiers, no democracy has been established that i've heard of, and the whole of the states watches as their money is used in weapons for that war-against what-insurgents?!how are they insurgents, when they are simply protecting their country? were we ever given a reason why bush invaded iraq, other than that bullshit about wmd?? oh, because saddam is a bad person, yes he is, but just look around you, they're everywhere. why is it in the first place that america should decide who should have wdm? so what was the reason, distracting the public from the fact that he couldnt capture bin laden? or perhaps it's his daddy's unfinished business? i realise i am making statements that some will find outrageous, so to them, i apologize and im willing to listen what you have to say, as im pretty young and maybe not as informed on this subject as i should be. however i find it hard to see someone proudly saying they support the troops after the number of citizens killed, and the abu grahib scandal. the world should be ashamed they stood by and watch this sort of thing happen. And even more to elect Bush a second time. Now saddam is being tried for crimes against humanity, i think the president could be tried for such a thing himself. Clinton is suspected of having 'sexual relations' with a woman and he's nearly impreached, bush kills thousands, puts the economy in the toilet and is not once questioned publicly. It doesn't help that the media is entirely wrapped around his finger, by choice or not. Anyways, i share your feelings that know younger people would rather talk about desparate housewives than what their own country is doing to the rest of the world...but what can anyone do under such a dictatorship?
Yeah, I believe everything I read on the internet also. George Bush can only be President for a few more years, but watch out for his plans to take over the world.....just like Hitler.
I hope the politicians of DC will get wise or hear the folks out there when deciding on this United Emirates/Saudi Arabians taking over the security of our ports. I know that Mr. Bush is giving this contract to them because of the oil ties that he has with the Middle East. What a shame that I do not feel assured to go on a plane any longer and now if I wish to leave this patch of dirt I need to have a foreigner give me the OK. Impeach Bush now. Don't wait until the next election. Thanks
My history teacher said something that pretty much sums up the way that I think of Bush. My teacher, a democrat, said that he likes Bush because he is the first president that makes America feel smart. Its like... well if THAT guy can be president, then there's nothing I can't do.
^^ haha i love it... only applies to people as wealthy as him tho...(and with the right connections, i mean what do brains matter, right?!!)
