Probably an obvious answer, but want to know what you guys think, when you take xanax do you get higher off your weed?
Man...take 15mg of xanax and smoke a joint an hour later...I think you wil get your answer Just don't smoke weed if xanax treats anxiety of yours, it will counter the anti anxiety effects and make it useless to take a very addicting drug.
do you have experience there? or is that hypothesis? because i think xanax would override any anxiety effects from weed, ive taken my share of valium and thats the case for it, and ive always thought xanax was stronger and more concentrated on anxiety and stuff as opposied to valium which is more of an overall sedative
Weed and xanax is a great combination. Probably my favorite combination when psychedelics aren't available. For me, xanax adds to the effects of weed, and vica versa.
Well I have experience with anxiety and the effects of pot on it I could say. But what I was saying is that if he takes xanax because he has some strong anxiety disorder, that he shouldnt smoke lots of pot. cuz pot at long term just produces more anxiety. He'd be a hamster in his wheel. He cant always be on the plateau effects of xanax, and if he smokes weed, the 'down' periods will go much worst. Making it useless to take an addicting drug. I should ask a professional though about rebound effect of weed with someone using xanax as med. Maybe there none, but I doubt it. Cannabis is pretty predictable
that could be the case for you, but theres no reason to generalise that. when taking benzos full stop, youre gonna be worse than you started in the down-period. as for weed, its actually much less predictable than you may think, since it can raise anxiety in some and lower it in others. and then its usually when on the drug, not off it. anyway, most people on this board are taking xanax recreationally and for those who arent, then i guess you just gotta be careful of what drugs you take when you have bad anxiety
