Well what is the sense of states legalizing medical marijuana when the feds can still charge people?

I know up here in the Vancouver area we have numerous "Marijuana Refugees" from California, the state says it is okay for medical use but the feds say no and they are here fleeing prosecution.

Well right now it is a lot more likely to be busted my local cops rather than the DEA, and once cops stop caring about it everything here should be a little more lax. Also if enough states show legalize marijuana for medical purposes hopefully we will be able to send a message to the government, especially after Bush gets out of office.

Awesome... although I suppose not that awesome considering I have no medical condition requiring the usage of marijuana... but still, awesome. It's one step closer.
