    Hello all, hope you are all doing well
    here are a few recent pictures of my locks, now 1 year and 1.7 months.

    and a nice little message I wrote in my locker;

    Now for the question: I am noticing some dead skin in my dreads, is there any way to get it out? It's almost like the dread skin is knotting into my dreads. Advice?

    Great locks! they are so unique! I love them!

    As far as your question goes...there's really not all that much you can do...my boyfriend has the same problem with dandruff in his dreads...it's just because you have a sensitive dry scalp...try using a bit of tea tree oil.

    That's probably going to be my best suggestion

    Wow, curly beauties :) I have the same problem, dying helps a little, so you don't see the white color anymore.

    I absolutely loooove curly dreads! am very envious :)

    Try apple cider vinegar for the dandruff? I dunno someone told me it works like a conditioner but a lot of other people told me that it's great for cleaning your dreads and making them dandruff free.. I love it

    You have some really lovely locks going on up there! I love how curly they are, I never saw curly dreads like that ... anyway, I have the same problem with the dead skin just attaching to my dreads ... I would go with what DancerAnnie said and try some tea tree oil ... :D
