hey you guys... i was just sauteing some vegetables in one pan, and i was boiling some potato perogies in the other pan..i have one of those gas stoves.. and then this carrot flew out of my saute pan between the two burners.. i went to pick it up with my fingers and my shirt sleeve set on fire... i was unsure what to do.. so i stuck my whole arm in the pot that i was boiling water in which thankfully wasn't boiling hot yet but the flames started going up my arm because of the way i was tilting it and so then i started throwing it against my stomach and it went out.. i've set my sleeve on fire many times before but this is the first time that i've done it when i was baked.. before i would just run to the sink and poor a bunch of water on it.... i don't know why i didn't just think of that but now that i am looking at my sleeve, it's not even really burnt that bad, just a little bit on the cuff.. so maybe i just thought it was going up in flames but it really wasn't.. i'll never do that again, i don't think...
thats okay.. i have some trail mix here that i've been eating ever since.. it's pretty good.. it's got those spicy little stix in it.. i have no idea what the heck there called.. there like spicy sesame stix or something.. but the veggies i fried were good to.. the perogies are still sitting in the pan.. i'm sure somebody will eat them..
