for the past 3 or 4 months, ive had dreams were my teeth are falling out... they are often different yet the same. like if i dreamt recently about a certain tooth falling out, ill remember that in a dream and think "nooo, not another one!" ive had dreams where i was in the locker room in HS, about HS people and my teeth started falling out and i was panicking... ive had dreams where i had a loose tooth and i knew it was gonna come out but tried to not have it do that. sometimes i would go to the dentist and it would be a scence. im not gonna go into any more, BUT, i have them all the time. they only started a few months ago but they bug me. THEY ARE SO VIVID. anyone have any ideas why i could be having them? or anything?????
Well if you're me it means when you're 9 years old, don't make fun of a 6 foot 5 eighteen year old as he might pick u up and drop you on your head.
i always have those types of dreams, i hate it! i have dreams where my teeth, hair, and nails are all falling out. i am like in the middle of a huge crowd, but nobody seems to notice that i am falling apart. they just keep on talking to me like everything is normal.
Yep, I've had dreams of my teeth getting loose, breaking, falling out... I've had dreams where my hair got all messed up -- usually not balding or falling out but getting a really horrible haircut. You're right, those tooth-loss dreams are VERY VIVID and CONVINCING. I usually wake up from them and check my teeth with my tongue or fingers, and for a while feel really freaked out. I don't think it means much, though. It could be just random "anxiety" working itself out of your system. Blue skies, -Jeffrey
Hi interval_illusion, here is another view and please know it is just that and it depends on you and what you want to make of it. Remember the second dentition when you went through the experience of loosing teeth, to come out on the other side changed, stronger and a bit wiser too. This is a lot like it. It too is about getting very old and close to getting out of shape completely when loosing teeth is just the start. But then it is just like you are tapping into your own center of energy yet not sure and like shrinking back of what you feel is true. As all life is asking you is to be vulnerable, and still trust it. It does not take your power away but offers you a place of change, and wonder, to see yourself different and find new strength in what has once been a weakness. The strength is not about maintaining control on what will be changing anyway. It is in being trustful and believing into yourself and not cling to the fears of change but let them go, like the emotional thunderstorms that called your attention. So take it as a wonderful challenge ... honour the experience and embrace it. Know that you choose it ... and sometimes all they ask is, know what you really want ... be true to who you are deeper inside. I think you feel it a lot in the vividness, too. Thank you for sharing!
within dream interpretation teeth are very important and siginificant and are very common. as i remember it to dream about your teeth rotting/decaying/falling out is like a forewarning of some sort of ill health or perhaps a failure of a business venture. similarly it also represents some foul or false words you may have uttered coming back to haunt you. apparently teeth represent your anxiety perhaps about your appearance or how others percieve you. this is interwoven in the fact that teeth are immportant in the game of flirtation. similarly you could be harbouring an unconscious fear of getting old. falling teeth can also be a fear of being embarassed in a public place or being humilated in a particular situation. these worries you may have are over-exaggerated in your dreams through vivid and often graphic images that you kind of can't stop thinking about. also teeth represent power being used to gnaw chew etc, losing teet could be a suign that you may be feeling powerless in a current situation or part of your life, suggesting htat you feel you ar enot being heard. you may not be interested but there is a relgious interpretation. this is htat you are putting your faith in hte ways of man rather than God. in chinese culture falling teeth are a sign of lying or that you have been lying to someone. similarly it represents money which stems form the old tooth fairy story, tooth falls out you out it under your pillow and you get money in return. sorry this is so long, hope it helps some and hasn't freaked you out, when i interpret my own dreams i sometimes get really scared. peace to you zenry
its the subconscious facing it's vanity i highly doubt that is the answer for me. i think some of the other possible reasons seem much more on the mark. im hardly vain at all.
hehe, that's what my husband said. actually he said "you need to go to the dentist" but i dont believe it.
