    Hello,

    TCP/IP is the backbone of Internet.

    If you work in any but the nominal networked environment, chances are you’ve encountered TCP/IP. Though, it wasn’t always that way. Just a few short years ago, TCP/IP was regarded as a somewhat lethargic, difficult-to-configure protocol used mostly by university or government networks participating in an unusual wide-area-networking project called ARPANET. It was considered too sluggish and complex to be a suitable choice for most private organizations’ local area networks (LANs).
