Well, I hate exercise. So I'm gonna stick with music and weed.

Now would not be the best time to say typical stoner things. [IMG]

    lol.

Yeah, I don't really hate exercise, I just kinda typed that and clicked post. PE is fun, and I like to run. Just never really lifted stress for me as well as a good dead show or a nice bowl.

In response to banality centered discussions...eh well this is one of the resultant
inevitablities of drug usage. And hatred is the most costly vice.

Its the existentialist trip. The knowledge that we gain is that reality is only as we perceive it.

When the doors of perception are open, everything is visible in a higher spiritual light; Not only do we experience something, but we are all a part of it. We don't judge things with our inexperienced human filters (the ego), we experience a spiritual reality of infinite time and space. Actually, its more like going beyond time and space, because those are purely physical.

On psychedelics, the enlightenment is a freedom from those barriers that limit the way in which we perceive things. It abstracts the thought processes, to a point where we no longer perceive the world as humans, but we can be part of the energy. Having been to this place "turns on" a person by making them aware of their perception, and of the spiritual world. It may not be a "god" but almost everyone who has had these experiences will say that they have been part of something with much greater meaning and significance than human "ego games".

Leary talks about his "8 Circuits of Consciousness". These focus on what levels of freedom from normal human instincts, emotions, desires, processes and prejudices, thoughts and judgements we have experienced. People who use psychedelics are usually capable of "opening the doors of perception" to these circuits.

ya but after a while. when you go through your spiritual enligthenment... its YOUR enligthenment, not Leary's circuits (ive seen it , and ... it makes sense, and it can be a lot of rubbish at the same time) nor Huxley's thoughts... its YOUR growth. and whats to be discovered, is up to you, drugs just help direct you in the right path...the path to enligthenbment. once you open it it is clear, but taking drugs while on that path, just might create illusions on your own spiritual quest.

Exactly my opinion. Except nothing heavy, of course. But marijuana can be really enlightening.
