i just finished reading my first whole book ever ...ive never read a whole book b4 and im really proud.
well good! keep it up, it's gets easier and more intruiging from here. my older brother never read a whole book on his own until he was 30! his reading skills had never been that good, and the whole thing was a big headache for him. i also think that my being such a speed reader geek kinda put him off, like he had to compete with me or something. what did you read?
Congrats! I'm guilty of not finishing books. In school it drives people crazy because I never finish the books, and I still make better grades on my essays and test.
I am so totally proud of you too!!!! What book was it? A good one? You should reward yourself for that!
my problem is im lazy and i just dont like to read... i never liked it...unless somthing interests me...
i only finished less than ten of the books i was supposed to in my jr. and sr. year of high school. and yet i got a's.
i always use www.sparknotes.com for my school reports... ive never read a book 4 school that i was suposed to
i do too. (did, i graduated .. with honors haha) except for books i actually liked. like the great gatsby or black boy or lord of the flies. i tried to read all of them, but if i don't find it interesting they take FOREVER to finish. my dad actually incouraged me to use sparknotes. not like i did, but to look at it after i read the entire book.
I'm happy for you I could never not finish a book. Even on the rare occasion when I find a book that I don't like, I still have to finish it. Reading is basically my life.
im more of a math person... im so addicted to tv / movies that i can not bring my self to read a book...but i dont think thats a bad thing but im a math wiz
